Job Description
Front Range Staffing is seeking Kitchen Prep Assistants for immediate placement at multiple educational institutions in Colorado Springs. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the community and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! The schedule is part-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 2:30pm. Pay starts at $15.91/hour. An ideal candidate for this role would possess the following skills and experience:
1+ years of experience in kitchen production, food preparation in a school system, or similar environment.
Experience cooking, baking, or cold food preparation in high volume.
Clean and disinfect work areas, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
Assist with stocking shelves and organizing food storage.
Adhere to food safety standards and kitchen hygiene protocols.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and work on your feet for an entire shift.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
