Front Range Staffing is seeking an Intake and Assessment Clinician with experience in mental health assessments, client placement, and residential care environments. This position is a contract role that will last up to 3 months. Pay: $31.00–$33.00 per hour (DOE and education level) Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts Location: Colorado Springs, CO (mostly remote with occasional travel to local facilities) Start Date: November 17, 2025 An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs, strengths, and challenges.
Collect and review information through interviews, observations, and record analysis.
Evaluate client backgrounds and offenses, considering mitigating circumstances for placement.
Develop individualized service plans and coordinate referrals and intake assessments.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation and consistent communication with referral sources.
Analyze referral data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare professionals, and community partners to ensure integrated care.
Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations.
Facilitate individual and group sessions during the intake process.
Apply trauma-informed and recovery-based treatment practices.
Foster positive relationships across departments and community agencies.
Embrace cultural diversity and inclusive practices.
Travel to local facilities as needed for on-site intakes and assessments.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in a social service field preferred; Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience accepted.
Licensure not required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health assessments, placements, or residential environments preferred.
Valid Colorado driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
