Job Description

Front Range Staffing is seeking an Intake and Assessment Clinician with experience in mental health assessments, client placement, and residential care environments. This position is a contract role that will last up to 3 months.  Pay: $31.00–$33.00 per hour (DOE and education level)
 Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts
 Location: Colorado Springs, CO (mostly remote with occasional travel to local facilities)
 Start Date: November 17, 2025
 An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Collect and review information through interviews, observations, and record analysis.
  • Evaluate client backgrounds and offenses, considering mitigating circumstances for placement.
  • Develop individualized service plans and coordinate referrals and intake assessments.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and consistent communication with referral sources.
  • Analyze referral data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare professionals, and community partners to ensure integrated care.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations.
  • Facilitate individual and group sessions during the intake process.
  • Apply trauma-informed and recovery-based treatment practices.
  • Foster positive relationships across departments and community agencies.
  • Embrace cultural diversity and inclusive practices.
  • Travel to local facilities as needed for on-site intakes and assessments.
 Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in a social service field preferred; Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience accepted.
  • Licensure not required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health assessments, placements, or residential environments preferred.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
