Job Description
Front Range Staffing is seeking an Industrial Painter with experience in surface preparation, paint application, and finishing work. Pay: 19-22hr. Schedule: Full-time, Monday– Friday Location: Colorado Springs, CO An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
2+ years an Industrial Painter in a Manufacturing environment.
Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces according to specifications.
Scrape, sand, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.
Clean surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
Calculate required material amounts and select appropriate paint products.
Purchase paint and high-quality brushes from approved vendors.
Apply single or multiple coats following paint manufacturer instructions.
Tape off designated areas as needed to protect surfaces.
Perform touchups and second coats to ensure a flawless finish.
Remove paint splatters and ensure completed work meets quality standards.
Clean all painting equipment, including brushes and spray guns, after use.
Work safely on ladders to reach elevated areas such as walls or ceilings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work carefully and precisely.
Knowledge of how to use chemicals and paint products safely.
Dependable and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to bend, reach, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Comfortable working in environments with dust, odors, fumes, gases, and other contaminants.
Ability to tolerate noise levels that may be distracting or loud.
Must be able to wear a respirator as required by safety regulations.
