Front Range Staffing is seeking an experienced EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager with 8+ years’ experience to manage and enhance safety and environmental programs within a manufacturing environment in Pueblo, Colorado. Starting Salary for this role ranges from $115,000 - $130,000 annually. Hours are Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm. An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
Lead, update, implement safety, health and environmental programs, procedures and training through the document control system.
Provide strategic direction to the EHS team and oversee regulatory compliance.
Raise safety awareness and ensure adherence to EHS policies.
Manage safety committees, inspections, and environmental permits.
Interface with regulators and lead incident investigations.
Maintain and update EHS procedures, training materials, and emergency response plans.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including sustainability and GHG statistics.
Lead PHA, Management of Change, SETCO, and PSSR meetings and ensure EHS issues are recognized and addressed.
Manage safety programs, including, industrial hygiene, medical surveillance, management of change, Process Safety Management, emergency response, contractor approval, Hazcom, hazardous waste disposal (RCRA), Laboratory Chemical Hygiene.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or EHS specialty.
8+ years of EHS experience in chemical handling, with 5+ years in management.
Strong knowledge of chemical safety, environmental laws and government regulations.
Experience with regulatory reporting, sustainability metrics and reports (Air emissions, Hazardous Waste, Tier II, TRI, etc.) and EHS program development.
Professional certifications (ASP/CSP/CHMM/CIH) and auditor experience are preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills.
SAP and CompliantPro experience a plus.
