Job Description
Front Range Staffing is seeking Community Corrections Support Specialists for immediate hire in Colorado Springs. Pay: $19 to $20.50hr. Shifts are typically as follow. 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Two days off per week2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Two days off per week3rd Shift | 10:00PM to 6:00AM | Two days off per week An ideal candidate would possess the following skills and experience:
Experience maintaining the security of facility, staff and residents including conducting pat downs, random room searches and monitoring facility cameras.
Responsible for completing new client intakes and out-processing, completing proper documentation and educating clients on rules, policies and procedures.
High volume documentation including client violations, medical and critical incidents, positive recognitions, and verifying client off-site activities.
Facilitate communication and coordination between case management, on-call departments, and clients.
Oversee and monitor client specimen collection and administer intoxication tests for suspected substance abuse.
Monitor client medication intake and verify medication inventory on-site.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and County standards, including PREA, adhering to CORE correction practices.
Provides First Aid, AED, and Narcan administration.
Oversee facility operations with a hands-off approach, experience de-escalating and resolving conflicts using company-approved methods and tactics.
