Front Range Staffing is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician for immediate hire in Colorado Springs. Pay is between hourly range of $26 to $39 per hour, depending on experience. Here is what you will be doing:
Conducting CNC router installations, mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting.
Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites for machine installations and provide comprehensive training to clients.
Ensure precise calibration of all axis using controllers, lasers, and dial indicators.
Analyzing proposals, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure adherence to build specifications.
Collaborating to rectify faulty components or mistakes in assembly processes.
Troubleshooting problems during startup, calibration, and PLC code.
Calibrating all axis using the controller, laser, and dial indicator.
Attending training sessions for personal proficiency advancement.
Maintain documentation for finisher checklists, travel expense reports, and SalesForce installation case management.
Experience with hand and power tools, hoists, and machine tools, oscilloscope, amp, volt, and ohm meters, multi-meter, ball bars, and calibration lasers.
Here is what you need to be considered:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in CNC router installations, mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, controller navigation and PLC knowledge.
Demonstrated competence in basic electronics, CNC mechanics, and PLC knowledge, with familiarity in Fagor controller operation and CNC routers preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., withstand long hours on feet, and adapt to varying work environments as required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing.
Maintain strict adherence to CNC safety protocols and customer site safety regulations, prioritizing personal and equipment safety.
Exhibit punctual attendance, reliability, and flexibility to accommodate changing assignments and production schedules.
