Front Range Staffing is seeking a Structural Engineer (current Civil/Structural Colorado PE) with 5+ years’ experience in Construction, Concrete and Masonry, Managing Teams with an Entrepreneurial mindset. Our client is a mission driven, rapidly growing, forward-thinking startup technology-based construction and manufacturing company, that is focused on creating economical and sustainable building solutions for future generations by developing robotics, automation systems, and streamlined processes that reshape the building industry and driving meaningful change. Pay ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 a year, with performance bonuses and stock options. This position is located in Chafee County, Colorado and requires the ability to be onsite a few days a week to manage projects and live within two hours from the job site. An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
5+ years of Residential and Commercial Structural Engineering experience, including concrete, steel, timber, and composite structures.
5+ years Strategic Leadership experience leading and mentoring an Engineering and Design team.
Lead and execute design projects, innovating improvements that push boundaries while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, structural analysis tools, and MEP systems. Finite element analysis (FEA) stress load software preferred.
Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and mindful utilization of all resources available including building materials. Balancing quality and efficiency, while reducing unnecessary costs and spending.
Experience being the main engineering contact, responsible for vendor collaboration, and working with mechanical and electrical teams.
Experience maintaining safety regulations, building codes and standards (IRC/IBC, ACI, ASCE).
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado.
Memberships in ASCE, SEI, ACI, and NSPE organizations a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Engineering is required. Master’s preferred.
