Job Description
Front Range Staffing is seeking Registered Medical Assistants for a Psychiatric Service Provider.
Pay is starts at $22.85 an hour. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, or 9am to 6pm.
An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
• Experience as a Registered Medical Assistant
• Familiar with basic psychiatric medications, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Experience with Medication refill requests
• 1+ years of Electronic Medical Recordkeeping
• Experience with Release of Information
• HIPAA regulation knowledge and training
• Scheduling appointments
• Screening and documentation of visits
• Strong customer service, communication, prioritization, and organization skills required
Duties include:
• Check in patients, take vitals and perform urinalysis.
• Create, complete and enter patient information intake forms into (EHR) Electronic Health Record
• Send reports to providers for high-risk medications
• Phlebotomy and Medication Injections
• Perform in house CLIA waived testing, Drug Screens and Mouth swabs
• Inventory and supply maintenance, including quality control of expired supplies
• Reviews charts to determine treatment and administrative priorities
• Send and follows up on patient referrals and lab orders
Must be a Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program and a Registered/Certified certification is required. Current CPR (BCLS) certification required and Certified EMT acceptable.
