Job Description
Front Range Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health Intake Assessment Specialist for a Psychiatric facility.
Positions start ASAP. This position is located in Southeast Colorado Springs.
*This company has a vaccine mandate, candidates must be up to date with all vaccinations including Covid to be considered.*
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Pay is $17.55-$19 an hour.
An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
1+ years experience working in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or customer service.
Degree, training, or coursework in behavioral health, human services, or social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) is preferred or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience in a similar role. Preferred knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
Contacts clients via phone or in-person, schedules appointments, gathers data, conducts assessments and follow-up assessments through an interview process.
Data entry into multiple electronic record-keeping systems, including electronic health record systems.
Maintains a consistently calm and positive demeanor while interacting with clients by phone or in person.
HIPAA regulations including maintaining client confidentiality.
MS office experience including Outlook, Word and Excel, data entry, 45+ wpm.
